This weekend’s winter weather is causing delays for the U.S. Postal Service and many people around the Tri-State are awaiting missed deliveries.
We’re told the mail carriers are out and about, trying to get as much mail as they can to customers.
Postal Service Supervisor Dana Powell says any time there is snow or ice on the ground, there’s a chance mail carriers will be physically unable to get to some mailboxes. That leads to missed deliveries and a pile-up of mail.
