Update: Postal Worker Killed In Crash in Maryland was an RCA.

Baltimore County Police  are investigating after a mail carrier was killed Saturday in a two- vehicle crash in Monkton.

The crash occurred between a car and a mail truck in the 3100-block of Monkton Road near St. James Academy at around 11:30 Saturday morning.

Police say 62-year-old Bruce Deutser of Parkton was killed when his mail truck was struck by a pickup truck.

Investigators say Deutser was attempting to make a left turn when his truck was struck by a pickup truck driving by  53-year-old Dale Chesser of Bethany Beach, who was attempting to pass the mail truck.

Deutser was ejected from his truck in the collision and died at the scene.
